Introduction
Welcome to MetaSheets. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services, including access through our web application and any associated APIs.
By installing or using MetaSheets, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
MetaSheets integrates Shopify with Google Sheets to help merchants view and bulk-edit product metafield data in a live, editable spreadsheet, and sync changes back to their Shopify store.
User Data and Google API Services
To provide our service, we request access to certain Google user data through Google OAuth. The scopes we request include:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets— to create and update the spreadsheet used to exchange metafield data with the merchant's Google Drive.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive— to list available spreadsheets by accessing file metadata (name, ID), helping you select the correct file without reading its content.
We only access this data with your explicit consent and use it solely to provide the core functionality of the Service. We do not store, share, or sell personal data beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:
- attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data;
- using the Service in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights;
- disrupting the functionality of the Service or attempting to reverse engineer our software.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or to protect the security and integrity of our systems. You may uninstall the App at any time via your Shopify admin.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability of the Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaSheets and Weber & Partner GbR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice via our website or direct communication. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
